Mk3 heater fan resistor pack location

Problem or technical question?

Mk3 heater fan resistor pack location

Postby ctk900 on Fri Apr 14, 2017 3:47 pm

Hi,

The heater fan on my new mk3 only works on the faster speeds. Normally I believe this is caused by a failing resistor pack. On other fords I've owned the resistor pack is in a little hatch under the glovebox, but I cannot find it anywhere on the mk3 to replace it.

Does anyone know where it can be found?

Thanks.

Engine bay , under the plastic cowling that hides the Heater motor lives the resistor

Check the switch also - but my money is on the resistor or the wiring to it
