sh!t, well spotted there Dave

And no i haven't :P

It's really sludgy where my garage is because of the rain and the fact that where my garage is, the land slopes a little bit so all the water collects. And because of the weather being so crap i have been bothered to wash her

Been busy under the "hood" though

Thanks alot for the the kind words mate :aviator: :D

I've resprayed the Airbox but run out of paint so i'll get a new pic when i've finished that off. I plan to spray the roof strips and door handles in the same paint as the mirror baseplates and air box so it all matches up nicely. I want to do something with the hoses in the engine bay but i don't know what yet.

As far as the swage line on the bonnet i've been contemplating for a while as it does go well with the SI bumper combo but its the wrong weather to be doing it really and I'm unsure as i kinda like it.

Again cheers for the compliments :)

I actually like the 2i wheels. But, the only reason i have them is because i dont have any steelies and i paid less for them than anyone had offered me for steels so its win win :P

The tires on my 2k's are shagged and i'm hoping to refurb them so needed something else for it to role on and use in winter. Colour undecided yet but there not going white before i hear all of you shout white white white

In this pic you can see the Red side/roof pillar, i'm sure these are covered by some sort of trim in higher spec'd models? Could you point me in the right direction of something or what models i could get some trim out of to cover it up as i think it lets down the interior.

Cheers.

My 5 door is the same mate. I would think if there is such a thing it would either be out of a 5 door ghia or an si, but not 100% sure there will be. The three door is a different shape there due to the window going back further than the door shut on a 5 door

Another update,

Ever since i got the car i've wanted to get the carpet up and see what the floor pan was like but have never got round to doing it. So today i cracked on with that.

This is what i was greeted with :D :lol: Just short of three quid in change;
Image
Grinded this back as rust was just about to from

Other than this its pretty much rust free :D

Had the rear bumper of today as i found a deep socket to get the nuts off.

Not great, my rear valance has had a nice wack.

yeah your right :P

Well with the bumper on you cant see it, and from underneath looking at the other side of the valance you cant seen it either so i dont think a tester will notice.

That leads me onto another thing, one of the studs on the rear bumper is sheared off on one side, is there any way of repairing it or is it past it?
