mk3moddas FRST! UPDATE 24/04/08 ! NEW Pics page 5
here are some pics of what i have been up 2
this arrived the other day
single pass FMIC core sizes 450x230x63 so should be better than the pace
brought another crossover pipe off ebay £8 bargain lol
and cut it up and sent it to my local engineering firm to have welded up they did an awsome weld job
had already located my battery to the boot so the battery tray had to go . so out came the angle grinder and cutting disc
and ended up looking like this
well now i have the intercooler and chargepipe . i started taking the front appart ready to locate it all
the idea is to centralise the rad as much as poss so i can run boost hoses either side with minimal cutting
and the bumper off ready for cutting
and to finish off with a pic of my car on track at castle combe

Wow that looks like a really great fit! I'm really impressed with that.
You're a brave guy to cut up a front bumper like that on such a minty car, but well worth it IMO
Intercooler even looks straight too!

wow thanks for the great comments guys
im really pleased with it . i spent so much time gettin it right because i have seen so many GRS and radtec that look crap because the cut out is wonky or the cooler sits badly. and wanted mine to be exact !
car will be a ford fair. with the bonnet up so you can see how the pipes go for single pass

looks like a really good fit, have just bought a universal intercooler myself so will have to have a go myself soon, hope i can get it as neat as yours.
you have the right to remain silent unless you wish to mention any modifications which you may later rely on whilst overtaking.

I'm not really sure on them to be honest.
They look alright, but then on the other hand you have still got clear side repeaters and RS accesory rears, which get rid of the amber and so sort of avoid the point of having amber fronts.
If you are gonna have the fronts i think you need to go the whole hog and get amber all round. Otherwise go back to the clears.

Agree with the above looks okay but if it was me i would either have full standard light front and side amber indicators or full clear both look good to me.
