mk4 1.3 with 1.6 mk3 si's brakes

Postby jonyb4 on Tue Dec 30, 2008 6:34 pm

just fitted my old cars brakes to my mk4 1.3 as an upgrade from the thin old girl original ones, they come from my now written off 1.6 mk3 si nice thick ventalated discs witht he bigger calipers anyone think this is a bit over the top or is it a senseable thing to do? before fitting them i painted them a lush smooth red with some trust old hammerite they look great behind my standard fiesta 13" steelies, which hopefully in a month or two should be replaced by my black 15" alloys gotta et some tyres first though :D

Putting the brakes of the si was definately a good idea. :)

You never know when your going to need to stop quickly and now you know that you can safely
