Mk4 brake options
I''ve asked this before to no avail (post1586047/?hilit=mk5%20vented#p1586047)
I would like to know if Mk5 vented discs are the same size a Mk3 XR2i/Si vented dics and will the calipers of either fit directly on my Mk4?
I would like to ditch the solids in favour of the vented type (like I did on my Mk3.5 1.3) and I have some very low wear drilled and grooved Brembo discs for an XR2i that I could fit.
Thanks guys.

Re: Mk4 brake options
The easiest and cheapest will be to fit the zetec s front setup.
search the scrap yards for a zetec s and have the calipers and carriers off of it. then get sum performance disks and pads.

Re: Mk4 brake options
Thanks but not many Zetec-S in the scrappers around here. Plenty of Mk3 Si/XR2i and standard Mk5 with vented discs.
I already have some performance discs for a Mk3 Si/XR2i I would like to recycle if possible.
I still have 13inch steels.
