MK4 Fiesta engine Swap

i have a 1.3 EFi MP 8V r reg fiesta and i feel it is lacking in..... well everything. i want to put a new or recon engine somthing like a 1.6 16v or bigger has anybody done this and if so what do i need exactly and how much would it cost.

probably been done but the engine transplant of choice on mk4's i believe is the 1.7l puma block!

dunno for sure but someone here will be able to tell you more mate!

You can slot whatever you want in the engine bay, depending on how much effort you want to go to. Loads of people swap the 1.25, 1.4 and 1.6 engines for 1.7s due to the relative ease of the conversions (all but the top engine mount are the same) but as yours is a 1.3 you have complete freedom of choice.
