Hey mate... sorry I didn't text back last night, was working and I don't have any credit.

How come you can't use the front door stuff?
Umm... Door mirrors and front fogs... £10?
185/14/55 tyres on steels. Almost new. £20
Rs7 style 15" wheels, with 195/15/50 tyres. £50
all body panels and in good conditions.
Interior is all a bluey sorta colour.. but velor.


Cant think of much things that be any good to you.... but any parts you need, mechanical or body everythings there

omg mate you got yourself a sale, ill have the fogs and mirrors, ill also take either the alloys or the 185's im guessing theyre on steelies? ill have a think abotu them, i need new tyres anyway, also do you have the interior clock and rear fog light button? mine are caput, we'll have to arrange a time and ill pop over

oh and door stuff wont fit as yours is a 5 door and mines a 3door

Need to give the car a wash down also.... covered in dust.

well i was putting the engine back together lastnight to see if it would start or een turn over, but theres 3 relays ones for engine managment, where do they go? also one multiplug that i dont know where it goes one plugs in to the air bypass on the throttle body, but there does the other one go?

i got it to make a ticking sound when i turnt he key, battery was dead as there was no acid in it lol

and ive taken the fog lights off it, but ive been lazy today, having a s**t day

been stealing stuff off the ghia, and swapping them over with my car

started with the rear seats, carpet, parcel shelf and fog lights
then i also got one of the rear roof handles to put above the drivers door inside the car





bits and bobs in the boot



then going into my car




how she is now




theres a few things i wanna do before weston, like get the fogs wired up and working, spray my ghia ariel base and fit it to the red car, also spray the washer jets

lol all im getting is interest int he car and ive not had it a week, my mother wants it, my aunt wants it, and her daughter and son :S also a neighbour lol and in the middle i want alot of parts off it

last few things before weston

got the ghia/mk5 ariel base sprayed in graphite and fitted

the pic doesnt really do it justice

also got the fogs working after a long day of finger pains, thanks to andy's guide

Could try smoking the fogs to match the headlights and get similar colour bulbs to match?

ha lol no battery keeps dieing and for somereason didnt respond at all to being hooked up ont he jump leads :S

news on i though, ill rebuild the interior and buy/fit a new engine and my mother will be buying it off me oh and paying for any parts im working for pleasure with someone elses bills happy days, ill use this thread to log its progress

and for the fogs, im a little stumped to how much they actually come apart (the lamp itself not the back off it lol thats just to get to the bulbs :S)

HAHA lol ben, umm yea done them about 4-5 days agobut ive forgetten to put them up on, i was still making my mind up wether to keep them on, but i was willing to try since theyre only like £4 posted on the bay, yea they dont look that bad, but at times i think theyre a bit much for what my engine is lol, 1.3 and i have motorsport oriented rim strips on my wheels lol, but since im here i mays well add a few pics, also since im so sick of "your bonnets up/open) the raisers are coming out soon lol





they do look ok i guess (ps this last pic is blured, the strips aint that wide lol)

mind you i had a pure love moment earlier tonight, i was having a go of a mates Paxo VTR, and he drove mine, he went first down the road and i was looking fromt he side of the road, and i just love the look of my car when its moving etc, OOOF i thought, it looks sooo low lol and flat on the roads i didnt mind the paxo too much not as bad as my views on them before, id still not buy one but atleast theyre nippy, props would have owned my old si lol, but going round the bends, i dunno if its because mines lowered but the paxo had loads of body roll, i thought it was losing control at first lol but i was only going slow :S suspension is so soft uch, and the pedal box is so narrow lol, only thing i like was the sound and speed, he crashed it later tonight then and bust a tyre and his indicator stalk lol, had to escort him home :S, but anyway i love how my car looks on the road

also my new wishbones arrived today (only won them on the bay yesterday morning :O i was shock how quick they come) so it will come off the road for a few days whiel i take the whole from suspension system apart, as ill paint the struts, hub, drop links and steering link while im there, dont know whether to paint it all black or silver or yellow :S
i think the silver would look good in contrast with the black wishbones and perhaps struts, but only want to buy one tin of paint lol, ill update that when its all done
