Re: My fiesta
im in the middle of doing some more mods to the fez
firstly im installing a newer cd player, its the same kinda model as before just with pre-outs and a mid range adjuster, i bought a amp wiring kit and some acoustic carpet
im gonna pop out to get some spray adhesive as i dont liek the idea of having staples showing or sticking throught he otherside and jabbing you in the fingers
under the carpeting is a pair new infinity referance 100w rms 6x9's
payed only £25 for them too , nice to have valuable contacts
matting was £4 on the bay
this is what ive ended up with by tonight, ive made a stand for the subwoofer thats tied to the strut brace (by an extreamly thick cable tie ill add) and some rubber insulation to help stop distortion, and carpeted the wood, staples sticking through the wood prove usful in acting as a grip on the boot carpet
and my old amp is powering it, which will need replacing one day when im a bit wealthier
i will update more when the other mods have been done, ive had a list of things to do for the past week but been crap weather or busy stripping wall paper to crack on, but it includes meshing and a seperate mod includes calipers

It has nowhere to echo - you're essentially just pushing air backward and forward. If its in a specially designed box, it will sound much, much better as the sound is being echoed in the box. You have to spend £££ to get a sub that works without a box The JBL's sound awesome and in a correct box it will definitely rattle the whole car
I only have an 800W mutant sub and get comments like 'My eyeballs are vibrating'!

Re: My fiesta
my new wheel brace which i took the liberty of painting while doing my arches
the one spoke is red to point out that its the correct end for my wheel nuts, 19mm
the time ive spent flipping it over trying to get he right end
(along with the battery covers one of the free gifts from a mate)
battery cover
rest of bay
a random of wheel and clocks
the poor ghia is in a right state, since my mother is meant to be getting a new car as the celica is too much fueling for going back and forth to work and is too low for my mother to get in and out, its gotta go, and since im in the well know of fiestas and have one spare in the garage, the plan was to drop a new engine in and mum can have it, but since a new engine is 150-200 quid, and the fact that the whole n/s of the car is heavly scratched due to being stored in a building site (previous owners garden) its a bit unpresentable, and after i told my parents i really wanted fromany parts fromt he ghia we decided that buying another written off car would be mroe economical for both me and my mother, i could have my parts, sell what i dont want and we can repair a cat C or D right off for less/similar than buying and engine and deffinatly less effort from me lol
we have had many close buys from Dhales motor salvage auctions but now a local car needing a new wing, headlighs , grill bonnet windsreen and maybe bumper has popped up, and theyre wanting only £150 for it, so its a prime example, due to my mother having arthritus PAS is essential, which it has its in a bergandy and has 79k miles on the clock, its looking promising, thats if i can get it started and runs fine when i have another visit, all the parts ill be taking from the ghia for this car if we buy it and it will be weight in to make room for this other car
so pressure is on me to strip it quickly lol, while selling anything that someone may want while i have it, i personally want for my own use on my own car: the PAS system, boot (to practice with), electric windows, central locking, electric mirrors (thats if dean doesnt buy them but hes ignoring me :whip: )
to get all this wiring loom out i gotta take the dash out, and to get the pas rack etc off i gotta get the engine out
how it fairs now
my grampa working hard, nice of him to offer to help, he did say he enjoyed himself
wing off
a right mess aint it
