just a little update.
had to cut the holes where the old tweeters where to fit the bigger ones - sound alot louder and clearer.
also got a new uncut shelf in will take pics sometime soon and a new 3rd brake light with the word filter ( when I brake it spells 'MK4 ZETEC' ) but that is wired up but needs fitting.
will take pictures of the shelf and light when finished.
also getting a new sub box tomorrow which is smaller but better ( a mate got one last week).
what you think ?

well i had to cut out a template of the size of the tweeter and put that onto the handle surround then used a cutting tool ( a reli small grinder but with a cutting blade ) and cut arround it - then forced the tweeter in there ang glued it so its extra strong.
the stupid box made the sub literally fart - so a waste of £20 lol

I need to get some Mk4/5 door cards and I'll be doing this too. I need some pods for the woofers too, as they won't fit in the hole in the door and I don't really want to cut it.

Nice work fella. Just don't get too caught up with getting all those little bits. A bit of saving and you'll soon be able to lower it and get some alloys on.

Looking much better. I was quite suprised to see that you didn't have one of the later style aerials though, I just thought it was a Mk 4 standard item.
You've done well with the speakers in the door handles, I remember when I had my componants put in, the guy had a right trial trying to get em to fit behind the standard grilles in the handles.....that and trying to find somewhere to mount the crossovers
I'll just echo what else says, lower it, and get some wheels on. Even those two things will make it look less standard and more like it's been toyed with.
I remember lowering mine and getting some decent wheels on, and parking it next to standard one, and even the smallest of changes make it stand out from normal, Im afraid no matter what hubcaps you get, they're always gonna look bad compared to alloys.

Heres a couple of pictures of tiny things that have been done.
Boot popper switch is fitted now - had to cut the hole and wire it, fitted the solenoid aswell - all works perfectly.
Fiestaturbo sticker put on the front window on the black bit that is infront of the rear view mirror.
Sorry about the low quality pics - it was dark.

Boot & Lights Update
Heres a update :
Its a mutant sub in a ported box ( but it sounded crap so i put one of the x-overs over the hole to seal it and it sounds better ) and a pioneer sub in a sealed box. ( Which i got from Simon T , cheers mate for helpin out ).
Ive bolted the two together and they do sound extremly good.
Getting another pioneer sub and a propper dual box and it will sound and look better.
and heres the new pure white headlights i got.
( the whole lot - ice white led sidelights ice blue headlights and ice blue main beams )

Stop buyin all your car stuff just from HALFORDS, try other shops who specialise in the things you want! sometimes cheaper and better quality from other places than HALFORDS!
I hate it when you see young drivers who have their first car and spend 200 quid at halfords on poo like gear knobs, stickers and allsorts ov rubish they sell!
Sorry about the rant! sure people will agree!
