Mk5 Fiesta 1.3 endura tuning advice

Postby wadeyuk82 on Wed Jan 18, 2006 2:18 pm

Hey,

Im new here and am looking to tune my fiesta 1.3 endura. I have looked at going down the route of fitting a 1.7 puma engine from http://www.pumaspeed.com but decided to try maybe working on my current engine (although is sucks) but to try get something out of it.

Would be grateful if you could recommend some ideas. looking around spending £1000 on performance parts and it is totally standard. Any ideas on BHP increase also? And possibly anyone have figures of what sort of speeds i can manage from such a poor engine.

Thanks in advance

Don't waste your money on it, thats my advice. Go for a proper engine conversion if you want to spend money on the car. :)
