Well This weekend i have been out and brought a omp roll cage. Just waiting for my mate to get use of the work van so i can pick it up.
This is the plan for the car now.
Get shell rolling
Cage painted and in
Wheels refurbed and on.
Welding done in engine bay for engine mount and gearbox.
Found a set of brembo 4 pots which bolt straight onto the fiesta hub (will be buying end of this month or next)
Order and fit Rear, and rear quarter poly windows
Re-spray in matt or satin white with Standard colour bumper strips all round
Then start saving to get the engine done

Re: mk5 panther black 2.0 zetec *Now going ZT*
well think i have now finally decided on the spec i want so will let you guys know..
2.0 zetec
custom 400bhp inlet manifold
forged pistons
forged rods
apr bolts
4-1 manifold
custom mounted Eaton m45 supercharger
inter-cooler
want to get over 200 bhp which should be possible as with the engine been forged can really push the super charger.
if not i have the chance to upgrade to a Eaton m62 supercharger but this would have to be mounted straight onto the inlet manifold which means i would lose the intercooler and space mite be two tight.
This is not my engine its jonboisescort hope you dont mind me borrwing the pics. But show it is possible to mount the m45 charger perfect so this is the idea i will be following.
what do you all think to this idea over turbo?

looking good mate, idea is sound, being such a low compression and liek you said being forged you could really push the charger for some good pressure, get a nice big pulley on it for higher pressure
thing with them roots chargers i cant see how you can get the big opening to close up onto pipe work to go to a intercooler as theyre designed to bolt onto the inlet plenum
been considering a supercharger route for the future myself so i bloody hope you decide to as i can sap some info

I think it's an interesting project, but I don't like the idea, personally. A well set up ZT is a wonderful thing - extremely responsive.

Is the big rubber top mount that fits under the turret missing?
