My 3mm steel plate come today so i can start fabricating the final mount for the engine.
the idea i have for the engine mount is now something like this I__ This will then be welded to the chassis leg and to the inner wing. and the mount then bolted down to this. I
Will all be making mounts for the intercooler over the weeked

Re: mk5 panther black 2.0 zetec *Now going ZT*
well done some more to the car today
better pic of the seats there really comfy just need to source some mk 3.5 frames or some mk4/mk5 frames so can fit them.
also started to make a mock mount and have copied this over on to metal which i now need to go and get bent.
also as this car is more for performance than looks have started to paint the inside white using hammer right some people mite not agree with this but. i don't intend to spend £££ on having the inside sprayed just for it to get scratched and marked over time. Plus this allows for easy touch ups.

Slowly getting there mate! Ive been watching this but never commented lol.
I prefered the look of the old manifold, but I guess the new one will be better for power output?

Re: mk5 panther black 2.0 zetec *Now going ZT*
cheers mark. atm im looking at a set of the mg ap cailpers were they that much of a pain to fit?
jony yes there expensive but proven to take 100 psi all day so its a very safe bet they will do there job i'm planning on using them on most of the engine. as my main plain is to overbuild the engine to try and keep it reliable.
Thanks danny it is getting there very slowy but can no wait for it to be done and all working

easy option would be a focus rs turbo and there good for 300hp with great spool or if you cant find one a 200sx turbo will fit ,there should be loads of them about.
