hi, im looking into putting an rs turbo engine into my mk5 zetec s. i was wondering which engine would be the better option, the fiesta or the escort engine?
which gearbox, the rs turbo or do i use my current box abd get it welded for the starter motor?

and finally, ill the fuel tank from the frst fit the mk5 as they are basically the same chassis?

the fiesta one, its EFI so its tones easier to set up and not only that, will start in the cold..

dunno if you can use the box you have or not tbh... i think you should be able to unless its MTX, but even so im sure you can use that.

your tank on the mk5 should be good enought for the turbo transplant, its got a fuel pump and return and thats all you need.

why not turbo the zetec s engine rather than go to a cvh

the van aaken turbo conversion puts it to 150bhp n people who have tried to up the power a bit more the car has gone up in flames! the gearbox in my car at the minute is the ib5, but doesnt it need a swirl pot or something in it?
