With such a multitude of new more modern engines about, I wouldn't bother with putting a ZVH into a zetec s I would at least use A whole zetec lump rather than bolting an older head onto it.

If you can afford it a Focus RS transplant would be nice (but V expensive), I saw one in a mk5 fiesta in performance ford.

Another cheaper option is the all alloy 2.0 duratec as found in the new fiesta ST, this engine also featured in the mk3 mondeo and the later mk1 and mk2 foci, they crop up on ebay quite cheap and have a load of tuning options open to them such as the D-power inlet, cams, heads, throttle bodies etc. A nice light modern lump that revs forever and hasn't been rebuilt a million times!

Or you could do what I did to my mk3.5 RS1800 and throw the st170 lump in complete with 6 speed transmission, loom/ecu/clocks etc. It's cost me less than a grand to do and is different, granted it may "only" have about 180bhp but I know its gonna last and still be pretty cheap to run.

Hope that put a few new ideas your way mate?! :)
