hold down the odometre reset button while u start the car up - simple as :)

it even tells you this in the car manual - well it did in my zetec s one

Dunno why it's telling you how to do it for a Mk 4, they never had any digital guages, hence why people transplant Mk 5's.
Likewise, Mk 6's already have a digital fuel guage etc, so that doesn't need unlocking.

Do as Faith says, most of these things are money making efforts for the sake of pushing a button or 2.
