MK6 fiesta turbo? megasquirt?

Postby demolition_man on Sun Feb 26, 2006 11:54 am

My friend has a mk6 fester 1.4 and hes looking to put a turbo on it. We've looked at the van aaken turbo kit but....0.3 bar and thats for a zetec-s.

My questions are:
Can i swap the 1.4 block with the 1.6 block?
Would i be able to run a megasquirt ecu?

Does anyone know of anybody doing something similar?

As i see it, theres no reason why this can't be done relatively cheaply in a manner similar to the van aaken turbo conversion with a decomp plate and bespoke manifolds?

Thanks
