ive been offered mondeo 1.8 16v front discs and calipers. will these fit on my fiesta 1.1i. both cars are 94 l reg. if not how much work is needed to get them on.also will it affect the offset needed for the wheels?

They would probably need machining to fit onto the Fiesta carrier. Other than that would be fine.

However being as they are only 260mm i'm not sure how worth it, it would be.
The Escort RS2000 brakes are also 260mm and they fit right on without any mods at all.

Standard Fiesta brakes are 240mm btw

well worth it stoned :D . brought my brakes totally to life :D

i use 260mm mondeo discs but im currently using granada 2.9 calpiers. had to machine a bit of the carrier though which I DO NOT RECOMEND. they been fitted ages now with no probs though :D . ive only done it thus far [ERRR] its a bit work in progress and i dont know for sure if the mondeo calipers will fit straight on the fezzy hub yet as i aint managed to get a set of used ones. even as little as an extra 20mm makes a hell of a difference  cant imagine what even bigger brakes feel like :aaah:

Hell yeah, 260mm setup is a lot better than 240mm

I just meant in terms of the work required, getting RS2000 calipers and discs is easy and they fit straight on
