Mongoose generally wins out in this debate for power and sound. Do a search, it gets asked about once a month

That's cos you're "special" Chum ;) Square indicators and Halfords tailpipes, just to be original :p

Having had two of the three (Scorpion & Magnex) on mime i would go for the Magnex.

Superb fit, has the tone characteristics that your after and is less restrictive imo than the Scorpion

Get a 4" pipe aswell

I ordered mine through X-Factor Motorsport (01753 632811, website) so give Jay a bell :)

andy did you have an induction kit on your si as well?

[ERRR] my bro has a full magnex on his 8v 2i, with a standard air box, but it sounds pretty quiet. :-?

1st things first, we are talking N/A tuning here, so power aint really an issue...

its gonna be down to build quality and noise

i got magnex, its pretty quiet when driving normal, but when u boot it the noise is nice ;) also build quality is excellent :)

its upto what type u want.... noisy or subtle ?

go for the Magnex cos there is no lifetime guarantee on the mongoose and its not stainless steel

Yep

I think Magnex exhausts are standard equipment on TVR's, Aston Martins and Ferrrari's. This shows the quality of them and they are willing to back it up with a lifetime guarantee.
