Cheers mate - I'm down in Kent some weekends in it (Sittingbourne) so you may catch a glimpse of it
Physically, the clocks are relatively straightforward to fit into the aperature in the dash where the original Fiesta clocks went (a bit of trimming of the dash required but is hidden by the shroud that screws onto the dash once the clocks are fitted).
If you're not using a Focus ECU (can be any petrol Focus MK1 ECU) then you will be a bit stuck to be honest - all the data transmitted to the clocks is sent along two wires (SCP+ & SCP-), the data being provided by the ECU (or PCM in modern-car lingo ). You'd need a gearbox (ideally MTX75) that has a trigger-wheel with 26 teeth per-revoultion of the crownwheel and an electronic speedo-sensor (VSS) to read it (The Focus/Mondeo MTX's came with this anyway).
You could always just grab the ECU/loom from an old MK1 Zetec Focus and have a go at getting a custom loom made up just to run your dash (a lot of graft for just running the instruments though). The better option would be to try and get a MK1 Focus RS ECU and make a custom loom, then either try getting your RST lump to run on it or converting to ZT (which the FRS ECU would be perfect for).
Hope that helps

Just had confirmation from Capri that my car is on the Performance Ford stand this Sunday at FITP
I'm looking forward to seeing plenty of the top cars in this gallery there and put some faces to usernames
Please go gently with mine - I've had to use it to commute 250 miles a week in since March 7th and due to spending thousands on my house, have still not had it mapped or fixed the dent in the driver's wing Still, at least it's getting driven
Those that are going, I'll see you on sunday

Wow, I'm pleased to have found this thread on here, saw the feature in the mag and it looks a lovely motor, you've clearly taken some time and care over it in between tours. Glad I can see further progress and developments! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind words mate
I'm in the middle of building an en-suite bathroom in my house at the moment and left cleaning the car for FITP tomorrow until the last minute tonight
Taking my polish and rags with me and will hopefully finish sprucing her up before everyone gets there!

Cheers guys - was nice to meet you too Didn't meet as many forum members as I thought I would, but to be fair it was quite a bleak day (still shivering now! ).
There were some lovely Fiestas there (obviously I prefer the MK1,2,3 variants over the newer ones ).
Just trying to work out when I can get it off to MSD for a map - may need to get an overdraft!

Re: Moondust K-Reg MK3 2.3 Duratec-HE Turbo.
Sorry everyone, I know you've heard it all before! This time is a bit different in that I'm selling the car finished and road-legal - doesn't make it any easier for me though!
The ebay listing starts at 7:35pm today and the item number is; 190542540299
I have no option really, money's got really tight lately since my wife gave up full time work and went to a 3-day a week job that only brings home about £9k a year. I pretty much pay everything from my wage alone and we're finding things a bit of a struggle right now
I have some jobs on the house that I need to finish, a holiday to pay for this summer and I'm not prepared to let my family suffer whilst I hve my "toy" on the drive. I don't do debt and am not about to start now, borrowing never helps in the long run. I just can't justify keeping the car and it's heart-breaking to let it go after all my hard work .
I'd prefer it to go to an enthusiast, and I'm sure anyone who's not an enthusiast would fork out for a nearly-20 yearold Fezzer anyway!
Thanks again all those of you who kept me going to see this project through and finish it, especially Capri (Al) for featuring it and immortalising it in print
I really don't like Ebay as there's so many people all to willing to mess you around but I feel it's the best option as I really haven't a clue what to ask for the car!
Obviously from my perspective there's a skewed view on its value due to the amount of effort/time/money etc that I personally put into it but I realise to many others it's just a clean FRST replica with a nice engine transplant.
Let's see how it goes anyway....

Cheers for understanding, it's not nice having to publically admit you're a bit skint but I'd rather do that than ruin my children's summer out of selfishness.
