Crazycage: I agree with your estimate mate and would be happy + relieved if the car made that sort of money - It's certainly worth it when the man-hours, money spent on parts and the overall condition of the car are taken into consideration.

I'n the end though, it all depends on what people are willing to pay for a MK3 Fez

Close call! Even if the car is only worth a smidge over 3K to someone it doesn't mean it should go for that. Keep it until you can get the money you want, it'll save you kicking yourself in the long run!

Cheers guys Just been for a blast round the countryside in it and was grinning like an idiot the whole way - I'd love to keep this car and like Excursion rightly says, it's worth more to me (for the time, money, blood, sweat and tears) than it is on the open market in pure monetry value. Right to say too that only a small group of mentalists still put silly amounts of time & money into MK3's!
