right first of all i would realy like to keep this but insurance companies want a fortune off me to drive it and it is going to get wrecked being sat on my driveway

1995 fiesta 1.1 sapphire in moondust silver quite abit of m.o.t left but refunded the tax , 3 lady owners before i got it and has done less than 20 miles in the 2 years i have owned it













I have done loads to this and spent a fortune on it since i baught it on 2010 but i cannot afford insurance , my parents want it off their drive , i have just baught a motorbike , and i cannot let it sit there getting no use and rusting , i will try and list everything but i will miss stuff as theres so mutch
quite a high spec model

only done around 65000 miles

new LUK clutch done less than 20 miles

new clutch cable

new temprature sender

new crank sensor

new oil , oil filter , spark plugs , petrol filter less than 20 miles ago

1.8 diesel startor motor , cold do with replacing for a 1.1 version

new standard middle section and back box exhaust with chrome tip welded on

escort rs2000 brake conversion lots of life left in them

i ground back surface rust underneath and stone chipped it

under arches were cleaned up and hamerited same with valances

escort gti wheels with very good tires on was good when i got them but refurbed them anyway

lowered 60mm on pi springs at the back

xr2i green tint glass , with the bvack ones lightly tinted professionally

xr2i bodykit , will also come with si bumpers if wanted

16v late xr2i interior some fag holes and burns from the guy i baught them off also will come with mint si e/w door cards and back seat if wanted

mk4 fiesta ghia leather steering wheel , leather gear and handbrake boot

standard back lights lightly tinted to look like the euro ones

blue xr2i side strips and bumper inserts

standard ford stereo fli front speakers , will come with nothing in the back as they do not belong to me

xr2i rubber spoiler

rev counter fitted

both sides , bodykit , second hand bonnet ,and boot have been re sprayed

fiesta rs rear turret covers

custom cold air feed works better than the crappy origional


thaught id put it up on here so i dont have to deal with the muppets on ebay ... thats all i can think of should make an amazing cheap to run car for someone , just want it gone so someone can get some use out of it and look after it ,a few bits of rust have started to come through ( i mean tiny not even bubbles just paint going brown a bit on bonnet , and a bit on door ) also has a few scratches around it as my little brother recently learned how to ride a bike

Nice XR2i rep mate, any pics of the work done underneath etc? What was condition of arches, floors, sills etc to start with, had any welding done? Has it had an MOT recently?

Price may be a little on the high side for a 1.1, I know it probably doesn't cover anywhere near what you've spent on it, but thats the way the car market is at the moment unfortunately. I could be interested if you are open to negotiation on the price.

ive only done 3 bits of welding on it front both valances where joins the wing / rear quarter and a patch at the back of the sill , its had a few bits done on the inside of the floor by previous owner everything else is fine . it is m.o.t'ed at the moment but i refunded the tax . only thing left that i will do on it before selling is adjusting the rear brakes cheers , jake
