Cams, K&N air filter, carb-rejet or twin-40s...

It depends on your budget and whether the car's a daily driver or a track-day nutter-carrier.

More info please!!!

Alight chap... nice to see another 'local' on ere...

With the 1.6s you are pretty much looking at anything they do for the XR2. I'd go for the twin 40's myself... sound the beez...

Oh any engine mods will affect your insurance... unless they don't find out

Yeah, it is a daily runner, the budget is small at the mo, but i'm saving

How much are the twin 40's? an is there anything else that needs to be done to compensate for them?

yeah i know its gunna bump up the insurance, but they might not find out

Twin 40s will give you about 100 miles max to a tank of juice (compared to about 300 at the moment), even when well set up - not great for a daily driver.
