MOT Question

Postby Matt L on Fri Sep 24, 2004 6:22 pm

Right, i had my 1.1 converted to xr2 a few months back but havent got round to changing the log book yet so it still says 1.1. My question to you guys is, will they still MOT it even if all the log book details and that don't match up :-?

Thanks, matt

They probably will MOT it, as i have never had a MOT tester check my log book.......
Your main problem will be if your in an accident, your insurance company will drop you like a stone! if you havent told them or got the relevent documents changed to suit the car.

I think you will find its YOUR responsibility to tell the DVLA as your the one who changed the car. For all the buyer could know, your selling a 1.1 as it says on the log book.
And if i was a buyer i sure as hell wouldnt buy a car with the wrong details on the log book.
