Motorbike carbs

Has anyone had any experience with fittin bike carbs on small engine cars, e.g 1.3?

im bored and fancy somethin a bit random and different, i can source some carbs no probs, but where would i get a manifold made?

your best bet is to contact bogg brothers. check the internet site for the number. they specialise in bike carbs to car conversions.they will have the best nolladge for which ones. they suggested r6 carbs for me when i was going to fit them to my 1300 crossflow mk1 fiesta. change of plans and now hve a 1600 crossflow, but am till getting the r6 carbs on as they are suitable to 2000cc engines. just. let us know how you get on, would love to see them on :)

Just fitted up aset of bike carbs on a 2litre Zetec in a mates XR2.

oranoco they look phat! do u know what manifold it is?

To the best of my knowledge the manifold is as supplied by Borg Bros for a Zetec. Would have to double check to be 100% though

May i ask why you would want to put bike carbs on a car? and what do they do?

They are like having very expensive throttle bodies but at a dramaticly cheaper price. Good power increases can be had for a fairly small outlay.

Oranoco, can you ask your friend where did he get that trumpets? a need some for my gsx750 tbs...
