Would you fail MOT with either of these? The BBB is ok if it still lets 50%+ light through aint it? I hope so cos mines is up in may

I dunno mate mine too so ask me again after May

I also have no handles

I think the BB is ok if enuff light gets thru (about 50%) and the lights are in alignment.
The clear rears are fine as long as they have reflectors in them, if not (like mine) just get some cheapo reflectors and stick 'em on the back of u're mota for the MOT.

yeah, but the clear clusters come with white reflectors, the reflectors have to be red, if you had red reflectors in a clear cluster then they wouldn't really be clear!!!

An easy solution for the clear rears at MOT time is to swap back to your original lights for a day. If not then you should have got a set of reflectors with your clear rears, stick these on to a magnet and fit to your bodywork whilst it is MOT'd then remove afterwards.

My clear rears came with separate reflectors that stick onto the rear of the car. Didn't fit them, as they look crap. By the time the MOT was due, I had lost them, so just got a couple of little ones from Halfords, and they were fine.

Just spoke to an mot inspector about some of mods on my car and Robz_ spot on. He says BB'd cars sometimes struggle to get correct alignment if not done right

No door handles are illegel if there is no way to git itto the car for an emergency. My mate had no handles on his "WAIT FOR IT" Beatle he used to put a bit of wire with a loop sticking out and the other end of the wire through the window seal and wrap it round the catch just for the MOT like. As for BBB's I hope they are legal

having no door handles is a prob during MOTs but just turn up at the MOT with ur windows down and it'll pass.....

they have access to the car [ERRR] they can open it using the inner handles & they carnt prove that you do not leave ur windows down all the time

**well it worked for me**

Ahhhhhhh Andi, I think mine may be different - see theres an electrical button outside (under the wing mirror) but I have also converted the handle inside to run off a button ie I don't have any 'handles' inside or out, just buttons. If I wound down my window he may as well push the button under the wing mirror as opposed to lean in and push the button

Like I said though I'm gonna tell 'em whats what if they say anything, [ERRR] TVR's do not have handles and I've got a funny feeling the owners may get a bit pi$$ed if ther supercars didn't pass the MOT in factory condition!

Bloody hell Andi i neaver noticed that before

All i would do is just keep a spear bonnet and your old ail lights and just bolt them on the day before. They won't care what it looks like like this.
