moved battery problem
i moved the battery into the boot on my si today and now the starter justs clicks, sounds like the solonoid is turning on and off quickly. everything else works expect starter. [ERRR] ideas people? thanks, tom

hi, sounds like there is a bad connection somewhere, most likely your new earth point isnt good enough. Also make sure that all the original battery earth connections are earthed in the engine bay on good, clean earths.

- What thickness of leads have you laid from front to back?
- Where did you put the ground/Mass connection? and what thickness.
- how did you connect the +12v connections that were normally to your battery.. to the new lead..

have you got all the wires connected i think there are 2 from the starter if i remember i had this problem after i swapped engines

i got it working today. i got my uncle to get me some welder earth strap and used that, and i changed my battery to body connection for a mini engine earthing strap and its working fine . thanks, for your help guys.
