MP3/CD headunits advice

Postby titley on Thu Aug 24, 2006 1:04 pm

Looking for a new headunit to replace the retro tape player in the pug, been looking at the following:

http://www.bassjunkies.com/CD+Players/M ... erture_id=

Don't really wanna spend more than £140 (preferably only about £100) so the ones listed on that page are in my price band.

Just to clarify, buying a CD/MP3 headunit, does that mean I can burn songs onto cd's as mp3's and therefore fit lots of songs on one cd? Like multiple albums?....

And finally, can anyone recommend a decent one from that list?

Cheers
Sam

Mp3 player plays MP3's that have been burned onto a CD/DVD(if supported)

So ie on a CD you can get 7 albums (single disc ones at 128kbps)
on a DVD about 35 albums (single disc ones at 128kbps)

This guide is roughly right but does depend on size of songs on disc or ie downloaded. :D

JVC all the way. JVC head units are tops. i do car audio as a job and hobby. JVC give a nice clear sound quality, i personally have got one in my fiesta nd my other RS's. pioneer arent bad but have lately not been liveing up to the expectations of previous models. hope that helps.
