Mtx 75 diff change

Just a quick one,

Going to change the diff in my mtx 75 box (from an rs2000) to the focus rs atb.
Ive bought 2 bearings but how do they come out of the box? Do they have to be pressed or can they be gently perusauded?
Or ive being told to take the taper bearing off the old diff and put that on the new diff, can see his thinking but what does everyone think?
