Thanks for the comments, they keep my up enthusiasm :D

1 coat of 2k etch primer (on panels), and 1 coat of HS filler primer.
Everything was painted seperately, I've just put the various parts back on the car to move it around:

Small update, I've put together an order for the additional Thin Wall cable that I need to add extra features to the loom. I found a supplier who can match all of the MY2000+ Ford colours, which is great. It took a while!

I will be spraying the base coat this weekend.

Cheers guys :D

It's not ready for lacquer. It'll get one, maybe two more coats of base, and as Rob says everything flatted with 2000 wet and dry between coats :)

I could lacquer after one coat of base, but it's better to have more coats to give more depth to the colour, and help out with resistance to chips etc. :)

:D Cheers mate. The Du Pont products are just leagues ahead of the rest aren't they? The thinners evaporate so much faster, and the clear is just fantastic! I guess that's why Mercedes and the rest use them!

aparently its the focus rs paint scheme aswell used in factory,
currently got one with paint issues in our ford bodyshop, its going somewhere else because we're using nexa autocolour scheme
and the owner of the problematic RS is a real fanatic and wants it right to the last detail
