It's gonna depend on the head, and whether I go for larger valves. CBA to do all that right now.
350 is probably a sensible estimate

Re: MWSTEWART | Si project - Exhaust Manifold 25/10
Turbo chosen. The GT2860RS 'Disco Potatoe' would have been just OK, but a little on the small side for 330+ and would prevent any future upgrades.
The Turbo I'll be using is the GT2871 with a .86 exhaust housing, as it will give a better surge margin and more boost available throughout the rev range. There's no real point going second hand so I'll order a new one from the states.
The brand new WRC Inconel manifold is on its way from Germany. I will order a TiAL 40mm external wastegate at the same time as the turbo.

one way of saying it i suppose
what kind of rev range are you expecting to have with that turbo mark?

I don't want to extend the rev range any more than 7.5k, the engine just isn't up to it long term, IMO.

New inlet manifold. I've wanted to use this manifold for about nine years now, but never had a project that would suit it.
It has 46mm ITB's and a great plenum design that I can easily space to suit my capacity requirements.
It's going to be a lot of work, and I'm not sure about fitment around a black top alternator, and also in my application the engine will be tilted to aid weight distribution, but if I can make it work it'll be amongst the best of the Zetec inlet manifolds to date.
Here are the port centres compared with a Rover inlet gasket, pretty close! A small amount of welding and porting required on Cyl. 1 and 4.
Other examples:

as in the 1.3 pulsar?
why would a 1.3 inlet be any good on a 2.0?

Re: MWSTEWART | Si project - ITBs 03/11
good times - back on topic, pretty interested in this, if it can be made to fit. How do you think it will compare with jenveys in a NA setting Mark?

I don't see why this wouldn't be just as good, if not better. It should be as good as the massively expensive Jenvey set up with the alloy plenum.
The ports are close enough to get a decent match after a little welding and re-shaping. mMy main concern is packaging, it may be Ok for you with the Silvertop, though!

PS For a Turbo app the ITBs don't make any difference at WOT, although going from part throttle to WOT is much crisper. It's worth it for the small outlay of the second hand manifold.
It should however make a significant difference in your N/A application.
