Re: my si project update 2.0 zetec in 95% done :)
i have another update here on my si rebuild project
dvd player is now fitted
really pleased with it sounds pretty good altho i need to set up both of the amps again to get to te music sounding right
also i took the rear bumper off and replaced it with another si bumper which seemed to fit better and i also checked the rear valance for rust and it was pretty good just with a few tiny bits of rust...so not bad
then fitted the standard rear lights ...as in the bodyshop the car is to be MOT'D so had to make it legal to pass , clears will be going back on once its back on the road in 5 weeks time
then on wednesday the car was to be taken away to the bodyshop for a respray but the car is too low to go on their lowloader so it was trade plated away and i follwed in the mk2 and took a few pics as the car hasn't properly been driven since the 2.0 was put in a few months back
the pursuer
5 weeks to go until the si is back on the road and the mk2 can rest in the garage

Re: my si 2.0 project pics in the bodyshop
would have got rid off the rear wiper, who needs to be able to see out of the back . a bit of light smoke on the fronts will sort the tints out aswell, otherwise the car looks pretty damn good. im re-spraying mine black in a few weeks, its my first full windows out re-spray and in bricking it, ive painted a lot of bumpers and colour coded alot on other peoples cars but im a bit nervous bout the whole car, and in black!! cant wait to see the car all done tho. is it out of the body shop yet?

Re: my si 2.0 project pics in the bodyshop * now painted*
went out for a drive and took some new pics
also re fitted my clear rear lights, didn't want to leave them in the garage as they cost me £135 brand new 4 years ago, so would b a shame to leave them off the car
but i'm going to have to take the car back to the bodyshop at some point to get the doors re alighned as i'm not happy with that
it sure is great 2 be able to drive it again
