Car looks really good.

I had planned on saying i didn't like the clear rears, spoiler, wheels, mirrors or tints cos they just aint my taste, lol. But you;re seeing to most of that now anyway. New wheels and mirrors will make it much more subtle and smoother looking. Nice job mate.

Cheers,
Lee

Phil, i see you have an induction kit aswell as the turbo bonnet, do you have any problems with when it rain and the rain goes theough the vent, does it get the filter?

i had no problems as far as i know, it does have rs turbo under bonnet vent plates spaced out not sure if that helps prevent the water getting in a bit

Just not the bonnet, but i will have

When you say spaced out, from the vent itself so some hot air can get out?

yep i used washers and some small bolts that go through the vent plate and into the vent with washers inbetween, but i haven't got to worry to much as i have bonnet raisers fitted

well i have got some new mods done to my car as i am coming to end of modifing it now as i'm looking to the future and want to start saving :)

i got some brand new electric mirrors on ebay and the the looms from a scrap yard and my mate painted them heres a few pics

Image

on the car

Image

Image

Image

i think they look 100 times better and i still haven't got use to being able to see whats behind now :lolz:

they haven't been wired up yet but will do once its a bit warmer :chill:

bought some rickbrook sill protectors

Image

not a very good picture but they say 'INJECTION' on them

also finally got my quickshift sorted as i had a few problems with it, but heres a pic

Image

it feels really good its a escort mk4 one that has been modified to fit a fiesta :)

also got my boot release wired up now in the glovebox heres a pic of that of where it has been relocated

Image

thats it for the moment but the last mods are going to be:

escort gti wheels with brand new tyres fitted next saturday
vibra technic gearbox mounts next month
new idle control valve
wire up mirrors

and sort power steering leak

and thats it :)
