Wheels do look good, but the drums being painted silver kinda ruins it a bit

The front cailpers look fine, its just the drums being silver that i think looks odd.

Just went back to see what wheels you used to have and I think the GTi wheels look better
Matt black drums FTW though. I Personally don't like "in ya face" drums, "in ya face" callipers are good though

Re: my si 2.0 project new gti wheels fitted now
my cars had more bad luck some driver hit my si up the back at some point last week while my car was at my girlfriends house and drove off leaving a scuff and crack in the paint on the offside corner of the rear bumper it also pushed the bumper off on the corner but i fixed it :|
i'm deciding not to get it fixed now as its coming off the road and going into storage mid june and i am on the look out for something cheap and cheerful and i am hoping to buy a mk3 fiesta flight 1.3 once i find a good one
the car also has vibra technic gearbox mounts fitted now and i think there awesome (altho i did hate them to start with)
so to cheer myself up i decided to give my si a good clean and polish 2day and take some more pictures
annoying scuff its not a lot, but after paying £2500 to have it painted last years its really annoying

people dont give a toss about cars nowdays mate, they think nothing of dooring it or bumping it in a car park, i had my rs bonnect keyed for no reason out side my house a week after i got it on the road, mindless pricks that can only wish to own something as nice

between 1000 and 1200tpft but lost my no claims in july as i had a slight bump and was involved in a 5 car plie up back in 2007 so 2 claims in 3 years and with my insurance company saying my si is group 16 after all the mods its gona be high and i have something very special i'm saving up for (engagement ring) so i really have got to save my pennys. so for at least 10 months or year the si will be garaged until i can afford to run it again

Re: my si 2.0 project new gti wheels fitted now
got myself this last week for a new runabout which i will be putting on the road in mid june as im taking my si off the road as i can't afford the insurance
its a 1995 1.3 LX with twin airbags central locking, k &n (coming off to be replace with a standard one)electric windows and power steering oh and escort xr3 wheels to be replaced with si 14inch ones
its pretty solid apart from the boot is rotten and the bonnet needs replacing the sills are minty mint
its needed a big clean and tidy up when i got it so heres some pics
dirty back seats
si interior to be going in at somepoint
decided to take the front and rear bumpers off to check and treat rust
i also gave the engine bay a quick degrease as well
the plans:
fit xr2i front and rear bumpers
fit xr2i skirts and arches
si rear spolier from my si i'm breaking
lower it a small amount
fit si alloys and boot strut covers
replace bonnet
1 pic of my si
and the broken quickshift
the whole lever snapped in half
