Re: My 2 RS turbo's
Very nice, I prefer the FRST though, looks in v good condition. Ive seen a few posts on here recently with people showing their standard looking FRST's - makes me want another one....(off to search adds...lol)

Re: My 2 RS turbo's
Thanks for the replies. The FRST was already modified when I bought it. The Airtec I/C is exactly the same as the S2 one. It has 2 fans on it.
I dont rate the ride as good to the S2, Its on Gmax suspension which seems pretty dire, and standard brakes. Its running 176BHP. But what can you do when you are running standard alloys.
When I bought it, it had clear indicators which are crap and a massive sound system. I prefer the standard look to the FRST and I plan on keeping it how it looks.

You can fit the discs and calipers from an RS2000, just need a 5mm spacer

Re: My 2 RS turbo's
Spent a few quid on the car over the last 2 weeks. New reverse light switch, sort out all lighting problems. Oil and filter change(paid a mechanic to do it, as I want it documented and the stamp)
I fit a bulb and blue bezel cigar lighter and wired it up to the stereo so it'll light up as they didnt as standard.
The alarm led was red and on the steering colomn cover. This is now a green led and now mounted in a blanking plug which now sits where the front heated screen switch used to live.
A keycode DD standard FRST stereo was fit to replace the low spec stereo that i had in my garage.
Tomorrow im visting a local trimmer to see if they can recover a leather gearknob. This was bought because im not paying stupid money for a standard one when this is just as good.
So today I took the FRST out for a good drive and stopped by my local FoMoCo dealership:
