I was indeed Tom, might as well put them on something I thought
OK, so after the weekends fun, further plans for the car have been made
2.0 engine + RS1800 box,
remove sunroof rivot on steel plate with air scoop
Strip out heater, most of the dash and fit the launch control,
I will be ready for the Action Day at Combe in mid September.
Oh and I need a Zetec 4 branch if anybody has or knows of one please.

Are you fitting the clutch switch for the launch control? I found the best way to do it was use the spare hole on the gearbox next to the clutch cable, and then fit a large centre console bracket on it upside down with the trigger pin resting against the arm when engaged, can get a pic for you if need be?

Cheers Jim, Are you going to FF fella ?
It would be good to meet up and have a look at your motor.
Minor update, I've bought a 2.0......but I'm not fitting it
I'm gonna spec the 1.8 upto 130bhp, The engine is so good that it seems a shame to take it out
seeing as I've serviced it changed, w/pump cam belt etc. I might as well use it.

No, its for sale less the gearbox.
Anybody want it before it goes on ebay at the weekend ?
I want £120 for it, it already has the correct sump on ready to slot into a Fiesta
I can deliver within reason.
pm me if you are interested, it will save spamming my thread up

Too late fella, its sold
Simon, yeah, after finding the bits for the 130bhp conversion seemed so much easier to just swap the bits over, the 1.8 engine in it is excellant,
it didn't blow any oil out of the breather after 8 hard track sessions.
With the 4 branch I have coming it should be a good 130bhp so plenty of fun to be had

Re: My 7 day trackcar project, XR2i 16v
Update time
After having a busy few weeks away at shows tomorrow I'm spec'ing the engine upto 130bhp,
I've got all the bits now, cams, MAF, ECU and inlet
Also got my 4 branch and full Scorpion system to fit
Hopefully all will be in place this time tomorrow.
I've also bought a roof scoop
Sunroof is being cut out, steel panel fitted in its place then roof scoop attached to that, It will probably be next weekend for that to be fitted.
Pictures tomorrow evening
