well this will truely be my good run about so performance wise it will not be fiddled with too much, altho i have a remap on the cards to take it up to 150hp and much bigger torque, As said i have many parts on the way tho should be a wicked run about when i'm done tho :D ... this ones gonna be a keeper... then next year the cossie will be back  ...

The standard vvt turbo is pretty good, if you want more power you can put a turbo off one of the pd engines on instead. My tdi has been chipped and that really shifts now, needs a better set of injectors though :(

Coolio, can't beat a bit of Audi for some comfortable reliability! :) I was going to get one of these, since they're pretty darn cheap now, but because my new job will require me to do about 800 miles a week/30,000 miles a year, I opted for a newer facelift 2.0 TDI Sport on low miles. Didn't fancy sticking 30,000 miles on a 120,000 mile car! I loved it from the first test drive though...nice and easy motorway cruiser with 140bhp/55mpg figures to keep me happy :) Remap will blatantly come along though  170bhp and better economy!

really is a good car lads yer, seats arent th comfyiest TBH but apart form that its very good in every aspect.... but fr now i have managed to source the parts i have very cheap, as for the things like changing turbo and that tbh i think i'll leave it till theres a problem as my GF might need to use this for a few months so i could be demoted to a C3 :o :oooh: .....

but yer james the only reason i got it was purely that these ''apparently'' do more MPG than the newer ones!? thats what my mate told me who has a newer one.. Plus as you said they can be got at a good price... mine was a steal :)

Pumpe Düse (PD, variously translated "pump nozzle", "unit injector", "pump injector")

Ok not really updated this in a while i'll get some pics up soon but basically the car has had few changes!
Its now been remapped upto approx 140hp and goes far nicer and more MPG :D ... the shocks didnt pass the MOT so i went out and bought bilstein shocks and eibach springs so now rides 30mm lower handles great and doesn't compromise having people in the car or luggage!!!

The rear bumper and wings are to be painted this week and fitted up in next few weeks!

i have also a few extras to go on in near future namely new rims and few other odds and sods :Q

Right been doing a few jobs this week its now had the airbox smoothed which has made a difference! had a cold air feed direct to the airbox and fitted some S3 xenons!.... cut the rear valance ready for when the S3 bumper goes on so a better exhaust can go on... Anyway i'm over this week to get the S3 bumper and other parts painted and fitted so here's a few pics!!!!

na mate been too busy setting up my own business so been very busy hence why half the stuff hasn't been fitted to the car but little things like the smoothed airbox really made a difference and i have a miltek lrg bore down pipe exhuast to go on too which will give good gains too... But it should be around 140hp easy... As you prob saw i debadged it after  , and facelift rear lights, s3 door trims jusr stuff that was quick :P . Nice stuff should go on this week :D
