slaney21 :sorry to hear mate. Shame really as i was assured it was mint when i bought it but with the headgasket repair which i wasn't told of amongst a few other things it just seems a pisser
Just out of interest would it cost a lot for the parts you mentioned to be rectified?
hope your well mate
I'm good thanks mate
If you know someone who can weld I wouldnt imagine it would cost too much but as I dont need a car at the moment it is not in my interests to spend the money to get it fixed. I will make more money breaking it than I would selling it as it is now and probably more than if I was to get the work done and then to sell it

its an rs, it shouldnt be broken untill theres no choice, sell it to someone thats willing to repair it, theres fewer of these ont he roads every year, we should be fighting to save them not breaking them for some floor and sill rust...

I agree with Jony. Sell it to someone, although... If your breaking, I'll have your boot carpet. Turret covers, boot floor. PM me a price.

Break it Scott (I know you will anyway), it's not a good one, breaking this one enables others to continue to stay on the road.

There is no choice, it needs work, I am unwilling to do it and I can make more money breaking it than selling it complete. It is my car and I will do with it what I want. How do you think alot of the RS's that are on the road stay on the road ? If cars were not broken for parts then many cars would not still be on the roads. Where do you think your arches and sideskirts and bonnet came from ?

thats fair enough buddy I can only echo what shaun has said, if its in a state then breaking it will help towards more staying on the road. I think if i did get another down the line it would be a black one again or a white one
take care matey

You've missed the point
By breaking this a few more RS Turbos will stay on the road, it will also allow people like yourselves to modify lesser models. I didnt say you needed those parts to keep yours on the road
Granted it is a shame to break it but I do not have the time, money or inclination to repair it and it is unfortunate that it is worth more in parts. If I could achieve the same money by selling it complete I would. I cant though so it will be broken
