U gettin underside detailed thn? Mines not long cum back from havin a spray job. But now iv done the most backward thng an gettin the bay sprayed an a little bit on inside an thn can start putting it back together with the new engine

ok lads finally a bit of an update, i finally got the ball rolling on the bodywork of the rs, i started stripping back the kit and lights etc etc for the respray and the bit of welding. she got a tip at some point on the back right quater so the wing and drivers side sill were replaced with genuine ford stamped panels so the drivers side is rust free bar the inner arch which i have ordered, the passenger side is original however so rusty but not as bad as i feared. the front is a horror story tho, somebody in the past butchered the 2 front wings and arches with a grinder to fit bigger wheels so there an absolute disgrace, i did get a genuine front right quarter with the car so only had to get a passenger side one. more bad news is when i was takeing out the windscreen there was a nice stone chip in the corner so unfortunatly it cracked right across the stone chip, and worst of all it was a heated screen but not to worry i have all replacement panels bought and should be here tomorrow, im also picking up another rs this weekend for parts so that should be all my parts gathered shes also booked into the bodyshop in 3 weeks to get the panels fitted and for a full body respray, then i can set about getting her back together and undersealing her, think thats all for now, just a few pics comments welcome as always

Shame on the screen aswell mate, heated is a real luxuary on a mk3
But its a solid old girl, sills are sweeeeeeeet, and being black its the bollox regardless of rot

Well chaps just a small update, the car was picked up two weeks ago to head to the bodyshop. Its already had the two rear inner arches done, the sill and a few other scabs here and there, ill be heading up to see it on monday and to get a few pics, cant wait to finally see it in fresh paint!

finally got some pics up of the car at the bodyshop, the arches have all been welded up nicely and the few patches here and there, only a few pics but the welder is going to email me the pics he took as he went along getting there!

shes had her first coat of high build primer. Stills need to be blocked back but getting there

Well chaps she finally has her fresh coat of paint, just needs a slight flaten back and a polish and she will be perfect, cant wait to get her back together now
