My black RST project ::update 29-7-10::
Here is my fiesta RST, i bought it in aug 09 from "ghoast" on here,, it had stage 1 chip and exhaust.
Within a few weeks of having it i changed the wheels and tyres, avo coilovers and 300mm front brakes, and a few cosmetic things like smoked lights and (not pictured) moretts and later style mirrors
I have other small interior changes such as black interior rather than gray which imo makes alot of differnts and looks more modern ( if thats possible ),, when i lifted the old carpets tho it revealed some holes ,, 1 behind the drivers seat and both wheel arches, i cut all the rot out and welded new parts in and treated and sealed them up,, also at the same time i fitted some brand new underlay which i got from a carpet shop which is actuly the same as the orignal stuff and only cost £30, well worth the effort imo,
It is currently in the bodyshop having a respray and commomn rust areas sorted out and a few other small bits,,
Since owing it i have been collecting a few bits here and there to increase the hp, but in december i think it was i see this come up for sale which i will be swapping the running gear over with mine, sorting out any problems with bodywork make it near standard and then selling it on, dont want to see it wasted,
When i get it back from the bodyshop i will put new pics up

Re: My black RST project
The brakes are mondeo mk3 calipers and st170 disks
The ambers are currently off the car as i have morettes on but im swaying towards putting the standard lights back on
The reason the green trims where off the car is becuase when i collected the car they had been stolen apparntly since the advert pics where taken, i did get some replacements but there tatty so havnt put them on
Thanks for all the comments, should have the black one back from the bodyshop soon, hopefully it will get as good feedback as it did before

Re: My black RST project
Heres some updates, none of the exterior as such but will be when i get it polished up
Heres my new interior, Leather ST3 Recaros up front + rear lower and retrimed rear upper with original ST3 cover. Flocked dash, centre consol, A b + c pillars and roof lining and door handles/pockets, also retrimmed the door cards myself,, front seats where a bit of a pain to fit but got there eventully:
Heres the new engine and bits + bonnet,, just waiting on a new turbo which should arrive in the next few days. :
And heres the new rears + exhaust and mk1 focus rs badge :

Re: My black RST project ::update 29-7-10::
I do like what you have done but the other part of me thinks its a crying shame another nice standard FRST has been modified again, so so rare to see decent standard examples these days. But each to their own, I do like the interior changes though.
