Yeah i loved my headlight protectors. One broke! Not happy bunny. So on a look out for mint set again.Really sets the car off.

Powder coating i do is on a production line.We don't do any outside work apart from the company's customers. We make to order. So i don't know what the going rate would be lol.

Hey everyone.

I've been busy buying bits and bobs.New water pump, nice brake master cylinder that dont leak.Yet to fit it with new brake fluid and get them brakes bleed, fun!
Magnetic sump plug, new castrol oil. Some paint... painting brake servo hopefully for the last time, now it don't leak!!
New pully and timing belt.
Loads of stuff i can't remember.Below is the oil catch tank, now powder coated in a textured satin blue,,, what you think?

Image

Image

Needs putting back together and bracket made.

Other bits i remember, just waiting on a square ported exhaust manifold to match my larger exhaust ports on the head.Had to order a gasket from america,so waiting on that also.

Car goes in the bodyshop end of month.Been a little delayed due to moving into new flat with my other half etc.But finally things are moving at a faster rate...

Thanks guys.
Yeah i remember saying i wanted to keep it a sleeper years ago and someone replied it's a rs turbo tho,how can it be a sleeper.Fair point but keeping it standard looking from the outside don't give too much away.

Ride height for mine (black) was 60 to 70m drop on the back and 50m on front using spax dampers and modified springs. As much as it looked the nutz, the motor was just not driveable e.g speed bumps and uneven roads it would bottom out.Loved the look but also the tyres wore out like they were going out of fashion lol.

The red one thats my oldmans is unknown on how low but comparing it to mine,it must be 60m drop all round if not slightly more. It's on Koni dampers but no clue on the spring make.Lowest rs i've ever seen on the rs wheels.

update:

few more pictures, catch tank back together, just needs fitting now.
Throttle cable bracket now powder coated.New water pump etc
