my escort cosworth ( 19" super leggeras )
thought its about time to get a thread up on my escort cosworth...
after selling my silver frst just over a year ago i searched high and low for an AURALIS BLUE escort cosworth...
found this on pistonheads. it was up for £16,600,, then dropped to £15,600,, after about 100 emails + texts and drivin up to newcastle i bought her for the sum of £12,000
the car has 3 owners, 70,000 miles, full lux pack, stacks + stacks of old m.o.ts , reciepts and bills..
the spec of the car when i got it was
big turbo conversion ( done by zoo motorsport )
level 8 pectal board
dark greens
3 bar map sensor
cams have been done
mongoose exhaust
organic ap clutch
few other bits + bobs
heres a few pics of when i bought her

Re: my escort cosworth
cheers for the comments fellas...
i had a complete nightmare getting the intercooler to fit as i wanted to keep the original air-con system, most people just do anyway with it when fitting larger intercoolers , and had to cut the front cut about and new plates welded in .. took its time but was well worth it in the end as i managed to keep all the original air-con pipework + radiator .. ( so its still all standard escort cozzy bits if it does ever go wrong )
i recently read the feature on your car ( must say that is a stunning 3 door ).. noticed you also have the wasted spark kit from msd... did you wire in yourself... ive already got the wasted spark kit and anti lag and launch control, but i no it all needs to be set up again once fitted. so i might just wait until around march and plan a weekend down blackpool and let msd do it all for me, as they chipped the car after the big turbo conversion was done.. might also get them to fit an air injecter whilst there

Looks like a really good job there, although you've got a job on your hands getting the primer off of the door loom connector pins
