Sorry chaps been busy with stuff, BUT! it now runs and drives .... Altho we have a few small hic ups,

1- my fuel pump mounts didnt arrive yet but, will be here this week so needs to be fitted. 2- themostat housing is leaking (needs sealing). 3- small oil leak off the pressure take off (just needs sealing) 4- track/camber/caster needs setting. 5- trouble selecting gears( i have changed to a short shift nuckle and solid mounts on the cradle, so maybe a problem with it??? 6- my wings are still not here...


now most are relativily easy fix's all being well my mech is sorting the most this week but really need my wings to go for MOT then weree ready for Ford fair!!!!


Now my mechanic hopefully will be sorting my leaks and the track camber etc etc by tues, BUT my wings are meant to be here tues but the chap is really messing around but basically it could get to the stage where the car is done and just totally waiting on them! if thats the case then i will have to take action in my own hands.. but i will give it a few days to see as i will be going to the car wed to get it finished!

well a couple of pics from a few days ago it back at the bodyshop, the wings are now primed after being worked... will be painted and on in a few days then off for MOT. Just a quick clean before the show sort the boost prob which we think we may have sussed... So all looking good will take some more pics tomorrow... But in the pic the car has been given a full 4 stg polish and the interior is now clean aswell...

Not too sure with the polishing though, there looks like buffer trails all over that thing!

haha, yes it is wax max ... i left it on for a while after giving it 2 coats ..... like i said those pics were a few days ago will try and get fresh tomorrow ...

Yeah the rear quarter close up looks like wax but the bonnet sooooooooo looked like a buffer, lol! Those indoor lights are great for showing results, so Ad, take the wax off and have some more photos in that place for me to inspect!

ok chaps finally got some net access so here some pics from last weekend!!!

A txt today also says that my mate has painted the final parts and wings are on and look great apparently!

So i'll be ove this weekend and fit the rear seats and then check over and then ready for mot monday!

Wow well up we go some time on for those who dont know the car came off thee road as the H/G was weeping after ford fair 2008 and has been sood for 12 months due to me buying my business...

So here on in the car is back in bits heres some updates!











Most my engine removed now, gearbox sat waiting for new internals....

With My head near and lnlet is matched to the head. The engine will be dropped off with mark in the next few weeks rough spec will be

CP pistons
long stroke rods
6 longstuds
wrc gasket
oil way mods
crank checked/modded

basically with this spec i'm looking to use a GT35 turbo tial 44mm External gate and my SS manifold.

i'm hoping for 550bhp high boost/450bhp low boost and torque to match!

in the mean time i have got a few parts going to my bodyshop for few changes my fuel pump cradles off to be painted too.. Also this weekend going to fit up my hydraulic clutch kit! Should be fun! Also recieved my AP 6 paddle , turbo heatsheild and rear diff hanger mod ( cheers Rainbird!)

Good O Ad! About time you started some work on it. New engine spec is going to be nuts! It was bloody quick before!

Yes i had to make a choice to leave the car for 12months and buy my business OR not buy it and fix the cossie the choice was obvious ....

So yes not been that busy just dropped the engine and box out, 85% of things i need for the power upgrade i have or already had as i prep'd for this over a yr ago!

so my ecu will just need mapping
my injectors are fine there 1000cc 's fuel sysem was prep'd for 500+hp too
my inlet and that have been done with the head and cams been done for 600hp+

As easy as it sounds all i need is the bottom end done, Gt35 on, new gearbox on and remap... But its never that easy ...

So will have more soon hopefully

yes but wont be for long as gonna be going to marks for the conversion after i've changed one or two bits and got few bits painted! might go over next weekend and do the clutch conversion!

well the turbo's here GT35 on .63 housing





fuel cell is at AH being modded, hoping to get the fuel system back on the car and few more bits together then tak the engine to be built then drop the car off a MAD.

well bolted the turbo to the manifold and here's what we have!






Then i pretty much discovered i think as i thought the w/g outlet will need moving so i set to it




Oh dear hahaha... Right well the plan is to go over to see the AH boys this w/e and there going to cut the rest of it back and reweld the manifold up for now then when we are sure where the outlet is going on the back it will return to them for the new w/g pipe...

my fuel pump parts and other bits have been powder coated so will pick them u and refit to the car, the fuel tank will be going for paint then refitting too!

my tial is on the way too!

Also to fit in the next week r two is this bad boy



Wrc breather setup which is far neater and better than my last setup , slight hassle to fit but once done its done...

Also got my hands on a spare mint front bumper for best so i will use my old bumper for day to day abuse!

Hydraulic clutch conversion is done also took a good few hours ! really is just odds and sods left now and get the engine down to MAD, really just finances holding me back a touch now as the botom end will be about 2-3k and gearbox 2k ... hopefully deliver the engine in the next few weeks to mark and get the ball rolling!
