ok bit of a update :) the car has now been fitted up with the spec-R strut brace fitted properly not like the prev owner did  i bougt thi brace off paul R but my car had one fitted before as the holes were in the right place for this brace but the tugger self tapped them in  ...

Image

also due to my management change in a 2 weeks it has been brought to my attention i needed to move the battery to make way for my new ign setup very similar to rod tarry's if not the same.. so i spent all day redoing it all even then i still need to trim and tidy the wiring but need to know what mark is fitting to see how neat i can fit things....

also i made the battery tray in my boot at AH fab was a good laugh turned out real well and thats now fitted up too took about 1-2hrs to make that :oooh: and we also made a WRC style earth on the chassis :bonkers:

also mark will be fitting me up with water inj :) so next week i should have the kit and get the jets fitted to the cooler all setup for mark to use when mapping the car :) of course a AH fab water inj tank being made too  :D

AH are also making a bracket for the -31 on the T34,making a button panel for the functions for the SM4, ie anti lag, launch control, full throttle change, traction control, 2 stg boost and also have sent my bells and brackets off for my AP 6 pots to be anodised black as they were grim when i got them... so the next few weeks are gonna be fun packed!!!! :o lets hope i can make some money back on the parts i remove i'm skint

got alot to sort fit, organise, rewire but in about 1 month the car will be M.A.D for it  :D

lets hope my clutch can take the 350bhp :oooh:

Looks good dude!

I'd get that battery tray area cleaned up asap as it looks like its starting to rust.. might just be dirt though!

Keep us updated :Q

slight rust look is due to some cok drilling 3 random holes and had wooden blocks there doing nothing :oooh:  so i removed them ages ago the holes have a touch of rust as werent treated, the surrounding bit is just nothing will wipe away :) but plans are when i get some more time to wipe it over treat the holes :) ....

also early next year i am wanting to give the car to jamie for him to do a few bits for me and speedline some if not all of the underside :)

You need to get protection on all those wires protruding through the bulkhead. You don't want to know how many Cosworths burn to their deaths at the side of the road with insulation rubbing through on holes in the chassis then shorting out, sparking, and igniting the whole car.

adamski frst :also mark will be fitting me up with water inj :) so next week i should have the kit and get the jets fitted to the cooler all setup for mark to use when mapping the car :) of course a AH fab water inj tank being made too  :D

Water injection or intercooler spray? :-? Very different things Mr Homo!

adamski frst :AH are also making a bracket for the -31 on the T34,making a button panel for the functions for the SM4, ie anti lag, launch control, full throttle change, traction control, 2 stg boost

Have you been reading my thread? I hope they've advised you about the effects of ALS on a standard turbo shaft :-?

adamski frst :and also have sent my bells and brackets off for my AP 6 pots to be anodised black

Looks like you've been reading Paul's thread too much too :lol: :p

I guess the most sensible option is to leave a standard clutch in there and just keep frying it, or set the boost juuuust low enough not to make the clutch slip until you uprate the gearbox :)

there are NO wires going through the bulk head :-? the wires there are a bit everywhere atm due to running out of time it is all safe tho :P i will be trimming and organising the wires more this sunday :)

as for the water inj :P the jets are to be fitted on the intercooler pipe near the throttle body :) thats where mike told me his is mounted..

for the ALS just because its there don't mean i am gonna use it??? lets be honest whats the point in me having the feature NOT having the button there, then when i get a turbo that it COULD be used on i have to go all the way back to marks to have it done??

i like to do things like saving time not to go back and have something redone etc learnt that on my fiesta, hence my advanced ign system and 1000cc inj they can be used now mapped correctly and can still be used upping the power without changing a thing and costing me more when i have it remapped in the future maybe :)

as for the brakes  lars @ A+H forced me into the blk bells as he recon'd blue was too ghey looking and i got fed up of him going on at me

but i do need to finish the battery stuff but this was the first full day i had with the car in over 3 weeks  but all comments taken aboard james :bonkers: , but the clutch you way correct the best option all round is to get the car done and see how it goes after, if it does slip then i will leave it on low boost till i fit a new clutch :)

peace out homo's :bonkers:

ok thought i'd also give this thread is little update :)

the car as your all aware is off at MAD developments after speaking to mark it should be back in 2 weeks with the 350-360bhp as hoped for with all the trimmings :) .....

while its been away tho i have been doing a little thinking and deciding on how i can improve what i already have :) ....

FIRST THING!!

so i have booked the car in with JAMIE  the start of next year i wil be getting him to first fix a water leak in the roof rail i have, then also he will be sorting a few small patch's of rust i have found, then also i will be looking to have the whole underside of my car stripped and then will be coated in speedliner!! http://www.speedliner.com this is a spray on liner that is tougher than your mrs at the time of the month!!! car be done in any colour and is also scented :) this will give my underside 1. a perfect underside! 2. rustproof!!! and finally i am looking into him doing me a rear strut brace like the reyland one in mine....

SECOND PARTS!!

i have noticed my lower splitter is non genuine so it will now be replaced by a genuine one :) also my window switch plate was knacked so got a new one too :)

Image

i have a new gear gaitor coming too also as this is knacked :)

my swirl pot i crackled along with my new water pipe will be fitted :)

also i have my catch tank being modded for aeroquip and a sight guage and a new breather made @ A+H for aeroquip along with a power steering res too :) all of which along with a new bailey header will be sent off for crackling by a pro and then fitted on :)

and my final addition for a while will be a IMP blue rocker cover

EDIT:- also can't believe i forgot about these  one of my favourite/rare new additions will be these

Image

NOMAD rear lights now no longer in production and looks the jammie dodgers on IMP BLUE cossie's :D

then i will be laying off the spending on the cars to save for my house/shop but by then i should have no worries about the car's running and bodywork
:D :D

cheers Ad
