call, your so special....x
Anyway gotta go pick it up tomorrow! all done all features new brakes etc etc will get some pics of it!!!
had to have a new clutch as seems there was a std one fitted when mark was mapping it couple of days ago, so i had to seriously fork out for a new one ....
once back will need to go for the water inj jets to be fitted up then i can activate the injection...
then few more touches by A+H i'll have it back ready to fit it up with the new parts i have here
want to get a few things done this year namely breather system fitted, welded in rear strut brace, chassis bars, bit of cosmetic touches and some slight body work
lets hope it dont cost much

ok picked up the cossie the weekend, mark just about did all i wanted. altho i have encountered on a couple of small problems he needs to fix but he said he will pop over somtime soon to plug the car in and change a setting or two...
But my brief spec was to have the
STG 3 T34.48 fitted
new braided loom
SM4+CDI ign,4 coils and leads
1000cc injectors
AP organice clutch
AP 6 pots fitted
longer wheel studs
now with this spec mark predicts me to now have in the region of 360-380bhp.... now this is genuine figures not like some STG 3 conversion's people waffle on about.... anyway the car seems to run brill, good on fuel still and goes V well. what with all the new stuff it is taking some getting used to but i'm getting there, the features are cool too ....
now its back i managed to kill a cv joint so a new shaft had to be bought as you cannot buy the inner joint alone .... which in a way is ok at least i know its new... i have also managed to start fitting the car up with some of the new bits, altho i need to get the water inj finished, sort some wiring, and few other small bits....
but heres a few pics to keep you amused

All the mods might be wonderful, but I'm not happy with it being a DIRTY Bic™!
Clean the car up and put it away in the garage, we don't want a loose branch to smash down on it, or the salty roads to eat the arches.
Hey, glad you've finally got it back too, must have been a long wait, but hopefully it's worth it

yes well unfortunally i have been sorting things on it and the bay was a bit dirty when i got it and the drive home from marks made it dirty from there ....
but yes these were just sort of 'after pics' need to fit some of the other new bits and then give it a good clean and sort out but tbh i have so much going on just late that if i was to clean it, likelyhood is it would get dirty again ....
fitted my new gear gaitor in the pics, removed the ACT guage as its going in the A piller pod redone some wiring etc and tidied up, tbh over the next few months will be more of bufty things and making the car look more smart than mods.... as i think the power is about right for now and the brakes etc
more soon hopefully

The brakes look sweet behind the wheels there What's the doodah on the steering wheel for then? And why 1000cc injectors?

the inj were for basically further power increase availability there running 50% duty cycle anyway so that ok, just saves me selling 750cc inj if i up the power basically thinking ahead ...
and the doodar is for the remote for the stereo altho i am gonna remove it as it dnt work from there anyway

Do you have plans for a proper gearbox and bigger turbo then? Is your current turbo maxed out? If not, what power will it let you go to? I can't remember what internals/head gasket etc you have either, what will the engine support?

well tbh theres no need for uprating the box as yet, some of the power has been taken out of third gear or something to that extent to help not kill the box ... basically at this point in time its the head which is restricting me, with a port and polish etc on the current turbo we could see a max of about 380-390(on this turbo). How ever this power is fine for me atm as its drivable with no problems ... my theory is if and when the turbo does go it will be replaced my a SS manifold and GT series turbo just wanna get the most out of the stuff i have for now, get my money's worth ..
as you may already know the std internals are good for 400bhp i am running a GRP A h/gasket. but to be honest my future plans would be to work around the engine now do all the other thngs i wanna do THEN buy a 400+ engine, second hand and uprate the box and diff's then ....
so really were talking a long while off just thoughts really atm i just wanna improve on what i have first .....
thanks for the nice comments guys

ok well as you may know the car went on the rollers graph below just encase you missed it :blabla:
Also due to the car now having the extra power i have took it upon me to realise i NEED to upgrade a few things sooner rather than later
so after speaking to Paul R bought a spare cross member(going to be powder coated), mike R for some new engine mounts, rear shims and some (insert ghey rap term) carbon bits on order and a thermostat housing frm pete rs spares to be crackled....
also to mount upto the member i have now got some adj TCA's off TONY cheers ...
my water injection is now fitted with quick release fittings :top:
Now final parts my breather system should need upgrading now asap, so all my bits are almost ready just waiting for my power steering res finished at A+H then i am sending my breather bits and header tank over to christian to get them crackled for me :top:
Now all thats left for me to do is bring myself to order the QUIP fittings for the breather system which i have worked out is gonna cost £££
cheers Ad

adamski frst :thanks going out to SAILORBOB aka derek for the loan of his rocker so mine can go to be painted
A rocker is a small component used in old school engines.
A rocker COVER is the top casing that bolts onto the head, ADAM!
The Adamski dictionary of car parts
Rocker cover = rocker
Strut brace = strut
Bulkhead = Bulk
MAP sensor = Map
Exhaust housing = housing
Compressor housing = housing
Inlet manifold = manifold
Exhaust manifold = manifold
:p:bonkers: It did make our diagnostic chats fun though..back in the days when I had a bloody signal on my phone!
Looks like a nice big workshop they have there! Where abouts is the rattling coming from, front or rear? Is it only when being driven? Bummer!

And you still haven't changed your bed!
Braided hose and Aeroquip fittings is a great look - you really can't just have one or two though, it's all or nothing, hence the terrible reputation for addiction it has! Gotta love it

Pics or STFU
Incidentally, does the YB cause problems with air in the coolant system? SO many modified Cosworths have swirl pots it would make you think that, but then again, I suspect it may just be a trend thing, and that there's no real issue at all, any ideas?
