ok update time been working again today about 85% of the inside is now desealed etc ready for danny B to work his magic... the last 15% will wait until phase 2 when the dash and etc is removed!!!

just got to rub the residue back with fuel and get it back to the panels, then i will make a start on the underside for danny...

As you can see been a bit of water damage but this will be resolved its only surface its not rot...

my new fuel reg is here and my hoses too

At least one front seat mount looks as though it could do with a bit of investigation while you're at this handy stage of stripping things back. It's amazing how little paint Ford bother with on the insides sometimes!

the whole inside will be redone/painted , and the harness pads were only kept as i knew hw much you liked them

thought i'd drag this up for you lot ,, as soon there will be plenty of updates.. the car is currently at danny'b's and is having the following:-

chassis connectiong bars, seam welded, boot bulge removed, rear strut brace finished and turret gussets...
should be out of danny's very soon and making its way to be fitted up with my new fuel system which will be as usual a perfect design and spec by Ah fabrication. once thats done wll be over to jamie for his handy body work .... so pics coming sooooooonnnn

well the car is now back in my kindof possesion, rear end is finished with danny... the car is now in storage till next week then it will be at Ah fabs to be fitted up with the new fuel tank.. Jamie is moving to his new premises this week so as soon as the tank is ready the car will be over to him to see some paint ... pics to follow

Well things have sort of change from my original plan the car went to adrenline for some work has returned for me to work some magic on it i think i'll let the pics do the talking










Then it basically all went wong i got talked into it










The car is now resting at my mates NEW bodyshop been in there new unit 2 weeks and to say the place is outstanding !!! few pics of it









the car is going to be prepped more and seam welded front few more tweeks here and there and speedlined pic under to show colour, flash does it no justice really but the colour is Very similar to IMP BLUE...



mine will be used with the usual speedliner quality but also using kevlar mixed in to make it perfect.... Giving the following results:- (but in orange)

UPDATE:- thanks for the response.... phone call today seems the front end has been fully seam welded and few other bits done too now, and he has begun to prep the interior for paint front screen is now out too ...

gota nip my top mounts and other bits over to him so he can mod the turrets for the mounts then he can paint the engine bay too then begin the underside hopefully fully finished in the next 2 weeks... then i need o go down and build it back up... i may be going over in a day or two may make a start on the engine side of things...

As you can see front has been tweeked up, top mounts have been fitted, back etched today i am going to rub down the interior, hopefully he should have the engine bay and interior painted up this weekend, then the underside will be speedlined then its ready to start building back up ...

Rear beam is ready to go on i have built it all up but forgot to take a pic its bloody heavy tho built up man beam bush's just slipped in there with a bit of rubber grease ...

ok some progress now the inside has been sprayed and the engine bay!!! the underside will be done in 2 stages due to the complexity... frnt will be done tomorrow then the rear next weekend... my wiring has been modded and many other bits done/prepped only a couple of pics just now as i frgo my cam, but plenty of updates to come over the next few weeks hopefully back on the road next month ...

cheers chaps, yes here is alot of stuff going on the underside will be amazing by next week ... i hae alot of new parts which i haven't named which wnt be fitted up yet but its all good... got small things like a uprated gearbox cradle, engine being refreshed breather system fitted, along with some heatproofing thats coming...

box is ok due to as some people (well customers) are anal about the speedliner tins if there dented they send them back but he gave us a box that was perfect none the less not that it matters ...

but yer alot to come yet

also the txt msg last night confirmed that the underside was done to the back of the gearbox lever hole apparenty ''it looks trick as fook''...
