cheers for the response guys  i'm pleased with the car to be totally honest i paid alot for the car but everyone who's seen it has commented on how mint it actually is so i'm glad i got a good one....

im happy with the power and looks for now i have plans for larger brakes different suspension and new wheels soon but i shall take my time, ideally want new rims as the brakes are too big for the wheels really  they have scuffed them, and the suspension is a touch spongy on launch so will be opting for some bilstein coilovers at some point..

but as for why its gone for now hopefully as said it'll be back tues with pics fingers crossed :oooh: :D

cheers Ad

sorry max :P

and james the pics are a bit dodgy as they were sent via the company in any old order  and as for what went wrong :oooh: .... went for a road test and a boost hose came off  then, air con compressor chewed the water hose  as they left that on for me 2 remove... so just got home in time it was on the n of norm!!!! :oooh: then as one of the lads from the company came to repair the hose for now fixed it all sorted then as i went to road test again a different boost hose slipped off, fixed that :oooh: then was all fine  ...... trouble is with std hoses if you mess with them they dont like it as many of us know plus with the new rad and cooler they will be slightly different to the hose position not much but just enough to blow off now and then...
basically i need some samco's now or some roose in my case

and rich the stuff was done for me at a low price mate as they were measuring and checking as there cores ARE better than anyone elses and required new positioning due to the new design... they did me a 63mm cooler and a 50mm rad i think it was, all this simple to fit NO cutting or trimming simple swap.... all brackets and stuff can be supplied......

give them a call for any requirements 01432354704

1 thing i will say is this company does NOT need to advertise there work is there advertising unlike many other companies, also if you interested alex is the one who made all the stuff for pro drive for the WRC so must be doing well somewhere???

the workshop is a big industrial unit lots of clever stuff he's been in the business yrs longer than pro alloy rad tech and many others.... and also has been known to be called up by some of the other alloy companies for either help advice or to borrow or lend stuff...

there a big small business if you get me also there was a performance ford shootout not so long ago, alex's one had the best temps, yet a certain other alloy company won??? work that out no favouritism

honestly tho not cheap but top work give them a call

IMO this car would look a whole lot better with completely standard everything, suspension the lot. These cars are getting a very Chavvie image now unfortunetly which is an absolute shame.

yes mate i see your point but like has been said these cars are known for a certain thing anyway, people look at these cars in different ways....

if it was such a chive car why has paul ripley bought one when he has a new M3?? answer = he told me the bmw was a great car but lacked the sporty hands on feel, where the bm has comfort and power, the cossie has that race feel....

he gets more business goin to work in the bm than in the cossie due to what people think.. but as most of us will say we could have bought bm's, merc's, porche's anything but we bought the cossie for above reasons...

the thing with this car some do abuse it some dont, frm the first few weeks i noticed the car was way too low :( not my choice how the car came.. i now have ahmed springs on order to take it higher, also in the future plans to put 18's on so i can fit larger brakes for my safety, then exteriorly my car will remain as that.... :)

we all have our own opinions and thats what its all about by me myself would never touch a bmw as i dnt want the stuck up attitude thats goes with them :)

It is each to there own, but the type of girls I go for wouldnt be seen in a Ford Escort

Whos Paul Ripley Adam? And what does he do?
I see what he means about going to work in the Bm, as again I would get fired if I bought a cossie to use for work and wouldnt do any business.

Plus the old Bm M3 is merely a stop gap, my REAL passion lies with an Aston Martin Vanquish/911 GT3 not an old one either  ........Give it another couple of years...... :D

Maybe i'll test drive a Cosworth some time soon, you never know, i may be converted

james- your a homo!!!!! my covers rock!!!! lets see yours then!!!!

muz- shut it, and remove those homo earrings......

scort- i have autronic mate as it was to be used on the fiesta but i think it may be better utilised on the cosworth.... so i shall be moving away from it eventually for now money and time is not with me so maybe late next yr?? :oooh:

1992FRST- be honest mate if a girl cares about what car you got there only with you for certain things  ...

paul ripley used to own S1's FT sure you seen it b4 1/4 mile in 12.8, he has a estate agent for his own company he gets business all the time but just said he gets more respect for the bmw, as imo the bmw is a business mans car...

as for bigger cars tbh i'm happy with my cossie i really cant see myself parting with huge cash for a car, totally devalueing after a few yrs and costs a bomb to service and repair :oooh: imo i'd rather have a quick enough cossie for some fun and have enough cash to have a good house and be able to go out and have a laugh :) :D obviously if i win the lottery i'd keep the cossie and by something bigger but also cant see that happening too soon

cheers lads Ad :)
