Been on here for a bit now so i thought id show u lot what i do in my spare time as u can see, theres no rust around the filler cap, but was a bit on rear the inner arch lips. (prob the only one in the UK) whats still to be done is: dent removed, lowered, cossie front bumper with lamps and indicators, laguna splitter, RS1800 leather steering wheel, opening rear quarters, rear quad lights, delocked & boot flushed, blended and sprayed & engine when i can afford.

The reason im not drivin it at the mo

How it looked when i bought it minus alloys and naff seat covers (interior was pretty gareish tho)

Interior trim panels painted




2i & mondeo replaced with RST and colour matched mondeo spolier


Rear disc conversion kit arrived in post


Rest of body kit roughly spayed with white primer




Still to do is fit rear quarter opening windows, RS leather steering wheel. front bumper with laguna splitter is hopefully goin back on at the weekend (also sprayed in white primer) once ive aquired a set of calipers the rear discs will de goin on, im hopefully ordering a rear quadlight conversion soon as well as my coilovers...so it getting there

Will also be having a full leather retrim & im pickin up a pair of front recaros tonight

things i'd do (only my opinion)
-remove window sticker, sounds a bit boy racerish
-lower it
-remover REAR splitter or smooth it in maybe
-smooth in or remove mondy spoiler,
-smooth bonnet
-get some decent mirrors.


i guess you plan alot of that anyway but still.

im totally with u on that adz...most of what u said is guna happen, eventually....i dunno what mirrors to go for so i jus painted the bus ones for now, opening rear quarters r comin on sunday so bye bye window stickers (not a fan much myself tbh) an all the body work will be smoothed in then painted.

agreed ben...ragit are alright...only really chat to a few from thamesmead tho...where bouts r u from?

ive got the dent because some spanish turd jumped a red on a roundabout tugger, but thats gettin sorted this month hopefully

nah dont get rid of the mondy spoiler just make sure u do a good smoothing job

Also have you cleaned up the rust if there was any on the arches and sills before putting the kit on?

yeah, there was minimal rust, all sorted before the kit went on

im keepin the mondy spoiler, all guna be smoothed in nicely
