AT the moment the cossie's off the road, and in the middle of a engine rebuild, and a few little mod's.
mk3 2i originally, with djm conversion(2000)
running escort cossie running gear,
Had the Fiecos wiegh'd @ a local wiegh bridge 3-2-2006
come in @ 1280kg in road trim inc full fuel tank, but no driver (i wiegh 80kg's)
as trackday trim = 1220kg
Spec list.
Engine dyno'd 505bhp, and 447lb/ft at 31 peak, 26 held psi,8/04
2.0ltr yb, Mahles pocket'd, l&b, arp long studs, Arp big end bolts,
Touring car spec head, Piper 509 inlet cam, k2 ex, verniers,
Dyno'd by David hills,
Cometic full engine gasket set,
AET GT30 turbo, internal wastegate,
RS500 inlet (modified elbow, and plenium spacer inc 2nd injector port mod's) 4x 1000cc rochester injectors,
Sec's S8 ecu with My own live mapped setup, Dingy (steve) engine loom,
My own big wing sump(6 1/2 ltrs) and a wrc baffle tray,
R+D 6 speed dog box, 50nm centre vicous,
Dome platted front diff in thick housin (rebuilt 7-07), Quaife Atb rear diff with shoot pined internals,
6 pot AP's 330mm front brakes, std uprated escos rears, braided hoses, wilwood rear bia valve fitted in car
8/07 New spec AH fab intercooler and radiator with twin spal fans,
Alloy tanks, baileys breather,
My own stainless 63mm boost pipes,
My own 3" twin exit zorst , with 2wd mani
Avo coilovers and 450lb/ft fronts, 240 rear springs, and poly bushes, Adjustable tca's,
Psg bodykit and bumpers, 17" team dynamic alloys,
Cobra seats, harnesses, 03-07, New race bucket seats brought..
T-E Wide band AFR meter, Autometer boost and tacho,
Racetech oil press+temp & fuel press gauges, Defi egt gauge and link unit.
S.E.C's ecu monitor, and Laptop.
Performance
All times set with full trim, Full tank of fuel, and Nankang tyres
183mph top speed at 7700rpm in 6th speed on gps in 1.5 mile private road,
With Mega rich fueling problems @ bruntingthorpe 11/05 done 173mph at 7500rpm @1.1 mile mark. (running about 430bhp @ 23psi)
2x 11.1's@123-4mph on 25psi at santa pod on redline rumble 5/05
2x 11.1's@124mph at bruntingthorpe, wiith redline/fast ford mags 6/05
0-60 in 3.04 secs, 0-100 in 6.88, 0-150 in 18.9 secs.
11/05 at Brunters, with 23psi, and transmission problems and in the rain,
0-60 in 3.6.
newer spec which should be running in next few month, inc's
1000cc inj's
new inlet,
new down pipe,
New rear diff mount, and solid beam mounts,
I'm after a 480 bhp in car, as at mo i guess its only ever run 440-460bhp in car due to problems and boost.
lookin for 10's quarter, and 130mph terminals
and even tho i've seen 180 mph gps on the road, i want to prove it at a thrash.

9-07, My new own intercooler setup, with s/s boost pipes,
9-07, Cosworth rad with my fitting kit,
9-06, Reno 5 turbo carb, on my own inlet mani,
8-07,EMS 5 micro dynamics ignition system,
Rebuilt early xr2 gearbox with a quiffe ATB diff, Deflex (my spec) gearbox mounts
Escort cossie front disc's and calipers, fitted with my Kit, rs1800 master/servo, braided hoses.
15" zetec s wheels on 195/45/15 Goodyear F1's, Dunlop slicks for track.
- Gaz front coilovers, 300lb springs, -50mm front, -60mm and spax adj rear, poly bushed.
-Fronts, 4' castor, 2.5' camber, 2mm toe in for track, 0.5' camber, 1mm toe out for sprints.
-Rears, 0.5' camber, 1mm toe out.
90 spec rs seats, momo s-wheel and gear nob, and bucket seat and harness for trackdays,
Mocal boost, and oil pressure/temp gauges, and R&B ACT gauge, and auto meter EGT gauge.
Mocal 16 row oil cooler and state.
All built, and tuned by myself.
POWER,
Had the xr2tt on Surrey RR on 3/6/06

- Was running stg3 head, cvh 36 cam, and T25 turbo.
With safe ign (no det), and fuel setting (not perfect)
12psi- 179 Bhp/fly, 170 lbft/fly, 148 Bhp/wheel, 140 lbft/wheel
15psi- 186 Bhp/fly, 184 lbft/fly, 155 Bhp/wheel, 156 lbft/wheel
18psi- 191 Bhp/fly, 194 lbft/fly, 159 Bhp/wheel, 161 lbft/wheel
21psi- 198 Bhp/fly, 199 lbft/fly, 166 Bhp/wheel, 167 lbft/wheel
The Most it made was @ 21 psi, but ignition was advanced 4 degrees more than what i can run on the road with out det,
21psi- 203 Bhp/fly, 204 lbft/fly, 169 Bhp/wheel, 170 lbft/wheel
They were all recorded , in 28+oC ambients, and the car run 14 runs in total in 15-20 mins with out proper cool down stops, But ACT's, coolant and oil temps all stayed @ fine temps.
Thats compared to what it got on PTS RR in 4/2004,
on same bottom end, but different head,cam, downpipe, inter, But was on 9.3:1 c/r.
@ 13psi = 199bhp/fly, 174bhp/wheels ,228lb/ft
@ 10psi = 182bhp/fly, 152bhp/wheels, 199lb/ft
Wieght
as on road 1035kg (inc me at 85kg) with tools,spare and stuff.
as wen i got 13.8 1/4 = 985kg with me.
Performance
Avon raceway 10-06, 9x 13's, best at 13.6 @100mph, on road tyres and about 180bhp.
4 x 13.8's @ 102-104 mph at pod 8/04 with 27-29 0C ambients
Top speed on gps is 140mph at 6.6k in 5th. in under a mile.on old engine spec
6/06 @ Brunters for PF thrash, on new spec engine, did 133mph @ 6300rpm, but wouldn't rev any more, on 12psi and in under a mile from stand still. i also done 14.9@99mph in the wet, and 0-60 in 6.2.
Future plans/ specs
New bonnet with pulser side vents. got both, just need sorting
Aimin for 240bhp, low 13's @ 110 mph.
add more rear camber.
A new 2.5' zorst,

i've had a xr2tt for over 3 years, i built it, drove it, proved a carb turbo xr2 ability's, and not thinkin of sellin that either.
its something i do, build and keep, as i know how much time and money goes into them, and if i sold them, yourll not even get half of wot i put in bk,

it was 9.6:1 c/r mate, d.i.y flowed lean burn head, and mani's, t25 turbo,
but on day woz dettin @ 13psi, and woz lean
now run 14 psi held, with good fuelin and 6 dee less ign(no det), with bigger carb.

I think I spoke to you at Ultimate Street Car 2004 when you were doing phatty times in your Mk2. I spoke to you while you were playing with the carb before your next run, through the fence. I was a bit half cut at the time so its all a blur lol.
