POWER,

Had the xr2tt on Surrey RR on 3/6/06
Big thanks goes to Charlie @ Surrey RR, Top bloke and service

- Was running stg3 head, cvh 36 cam, and T25 turbo.

With safe ign (no det), and fuel setting (not perfect)

12psi- 179 Bhp/fly, 170 lbft/fly, 148 Bhp/wheel, 140 lbft/wheel
15psi- 186 Bhp/fly, 184 lbft/fly, 155 Bhp/wheel, 156 lbft/wheel
18psi- 191 Bhp/fly, 194 lbft/fly, 159 Bhp/wheel, 161 lbft/wheel
21psi- 198 Bhp/fly, 199 lbft/fly, 166 Bhp/wheel, 167 lbft/wheel

The Most it made was @ 21 psi, but ignition was advanced 4 degrees more than what i can run on the road with out det,

21psi- 203 Bhp/fly, 204 lbft/fly, 169 Bhp/wheel, 170 lbft/wheel

They were all recorded , in 28+oC ambients, and the car run 14 runs in total in 15-20 mins with out proper cool down stops, But ACT's, coolant and oil temps all stayed @ fine temps.

Thats compared to what it got on PTS RR in 4/2004,
on same bottom end, but different head, cam, downpipe, inter, But was on 9.3:1 c/r.

@ 13psi = 199bhp/fly, 174bhp/wheels ,228lb/ft
@ 10psi = 182bhp/fly, 152bhp/wheels, 199lb/ft

Wieght

as on road 1035kg (inc me at 85kg) with tools, spare and stuff.
as wen i got 13.8 1/4 = 985kg with me.

Performance

Avon raceway 10-06, 9x 13's, best at 13.6 @100mph, on road tyres and about 180bhp.
4 x 13.8's @ 102-104 mph at pod 8/04 with 27-29 0C ambients
Top speed on gps is 140mph at 6.6k in 5th. in under a mile.on old engine spec
6/06 @ Brunters for PF thrash, on new spec engine, did 133mph @ 6300rpm, but wouldn't rev any more, on 12psi and in under a mile from stand still. i also done 14.9@99mph in the wet, and 0-60 in 6.2.

Image Image
Image Image

Future plans/ specs

New bonnet with pulser side vents. got both, just need sorting
Aimin for 240bhp, low 13's @ 110 mph.
add more rear camber.
A new 2.5' zorst,

Escort Cossie front brakes

it cost alot mate, aint plannin on selling it at all at mo,
i've had a xr2tt for over 3 years, i built it, drove it, proved a carb turbo xr2 ability's, and not thinkin of sellin that either.
its something i do, build and keep, as i know how much time and money goes into them, and if i sold them, yourll not even get half of wot i put in bk,

That cossy is mental!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you got any more pics of the rear set up and transmission tunnel inside. Must be carzy on the road. I think I spoke to you at Ultimate Street Car 2004 when you were doing phatty times in your Mk2. I spoke to you while you were playing with the carb before your next run, through the fence. I was a bit half cut at the time so its all a blur lol.

Either way you have two cars we all want on this board :D
