Got a knock on the door at 5:00 this morning and who was stood their... the police!!! Some ba$tard had stolen my car The police said they had hit a fence and rolled it, then they set it on fire and made off..

Yep the police will never catch them, they had the helicopter out but they havnt said if they have caught anybody yet

Just phoned up the scrap yard to see if it had been recovered yet and it has, so i was going to go down and have a look at it but its still in police retain and its going to cost £300 if i want the car back plus £20 a day its in there

I doubt there is going to be anything salvagable from it mate, might aswell just sign it over to the police, otherwise your going to be paying out the money for it to be kept in the police retainment

Sorry to hear this mate, unfortunately, I think, from the sounds of things, that there's no point in even buying it back. Get down there and see what you can salvage.

Although i dont think i will be able to salvage much becasue it was on its roof and up in flames.

That really sucks. I had a Fiesta stolen 2/3 years ago and it still hasn't been found.

You never know there could be a few bits left.. exhaust, wheels, lights, bodykit etc.

sorry to hear that. Just hope that calmer takes care of the scum 10th fold. I had a fez stolen years ago It was only up for sale £100 with full mot. was so gutted though. It was never found. And my 2.2 riffle wasnt powerful enough shoot the guy as he drove off I did try

Well the insurance people have been out today and they said that they will cover the charges of the scrapyard.

They are going to look at the car and value it later on today and listen to this they said the car has been a cat D and been repaired wich i didnt know so they will deduct about 15% of wht the cars worth

Maybe it would have been beneficial to HPI the car before you bought it, but I don't honestly think you'll get much back, sorry to say. an F reg Fiesta would only be worth something in the region of £200 - £300 I would have thought.

No chance mate. They might let you take any personal effects but thats it.
